What size are your urns?
Our Koa urns are made in a standard adult size and are designed to accommodate the cremated remains of an individual who weighed up to approximately 230 lbs. before cremation.
Are your urns made from genuine Hawaiian Koa?
Yes. Our Koa urns are handcrafted in Hawaiʻi using genuine Hawaiian Koa wood. Because Koa is a natural material, each urn will have its own unique color, grain, and figure.
Can the urn be personalized?
Yes. Custom laser engraving is available as an add-on and may include a name, dates, short message, or select design.
How does the engraving process work?
If you select the engraving add-on, please provide the wording and personalization details with your order, or send to LewisKoaCo@gotkoa.com. If you don’t have your engraving details ready when placing your order, not to worry - we’ll personally reach out to you by email to gather your personalization details and make sure everything is exactly as you would like it before we begin engraving your urn. We will prepare an engraving layout and send you a proof for approval before engraving your urn. Engraving will not begin until your proof has been approved, so please review and respond promptly to avoid delays. Once approved, your urn will be carefully laser engraved in our Hawaiʻi workshop.
How long does engraving take?
Please allow approximately 2-3 business days after proof approval for engraving before your urn is ready to ship. If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us before ordering and we will do our best to accommodate your timeline.
